ZHunter

Privacy Policy

Last updated 31 July 2026

ZHunter collects no personal data, shows no advertising and contains no analytics or third-party code. Game progress is stored on your device. The single exception is Game Center, which is optional, and it is described in full below.

The app makes no network requests of its own — there is no server behind it, no analytics endpoint and no third-party SDK. The only data that ever leaves your device is a Game Center score, and only if you choose to sign in.

What the app stores

ZHunter saves a small amount of game progress on your device using the system's standard app storage. It never leaves the device, is not backed by any server, and is deleted when you delete the app.

StoredWhat it is
SalvageYour in-game currency balance.
Upgrade tiersWhich weapon and health upgrades you have bought.
Weapons ownedWhich weapons you have unlocked.
Personal bestsHighest round, best score, kill records.
PreferencesLaser colour, reticle style, HUD position, game mode.

None of it identifies you. There is no name, no email address, no device identifier and no location in any of it.

Head and hand tracking

ZHunter is a spatial game, so it needs to know where your head and your controllers are in order to draw the world and aim the weapon.

That tracking is performed by visionOS itself. The system gives the app only positions and orientations. The app never receives camera images, never records anything, and never transmits any of it. The positions exist in memory while you are playing and are gone when you stop.

Game Center

ZHunter supports Apple's Game Center for leaderboards. It is entirely optional and the game is fully playable signed out — nothing is gated behind it and you are never asked to sign in.

If you are signed in to Game Center, then at the end of a completed run the system sends the round you reached, your score and your kill count to Apple's Game Center service, associated with your Game Center identity. That is what a leaderboard is.

This is handled by Apple, under Apple's privacy policy. The developer of this app receives none of it, cannot see who is signed in, and has no server of any kind. Runs that used a developer testing code are never submitted at all.

Signing out of Game Center on your device stops all of it.

Children

ZHunter is a horror game intended for adults. It collects no data from anyone, of any age.

Third parties

There are none. No analytics package, no crash reporter, no advertising network, and no software development kit from any other company is in the app. Game Center is Apple's own service, built into the operating system.

Your choices

Because nothing is collected, there is nothing to request, correct, export or delete from anyone. Deleting the app removes the locally stored progress described above.

Changes

If a future version of the app ever collects anything, this page will be updated before that version ships, and the change will be described here rather than quietly reworded.
